I wrote the following poem for my husband.

My Dream Come True

The first time I saw you
I wanted to say
That I want to be with you
In every way.

Oh, how I wanted to tell you
Right then and there
But I just couldn't do it
Because I didn't think you cared.

Now that we're together
I hope that it will last
No matter what has happened
I hope we leave it in our past.

You are the only one I love
And I make this promise to you
That you will always be loved and honored by me
Because you are my dream come true.
