The Promise

As I looked up in the sky
After the rain; it was a surprise;
A beautiful rainbow of colors so rare,
I wondered how they all got there.

But as we know from the Bible it's told,
That God sent a rainbow of colors so bold.

Now I'm sending you, my dear, a place in my heart
And a promise to you; we will never part.
But as this Valentine's Day arrives,
We'll be together for the rest of our lives.
