CHRISTINA

Meet my youngest stepdaughter, Christina. She's 17 years old and is very special to me. Of course we have our differences and our fights, but we always seem to work them out. You see, she was only 9 years old when I first met her and 11 when she started living with us on a permanent basis. It's been very rough on her at times and you can feel her pain when you read her poetry. She doesn't know it yet, but I found where she has created her own home page. See for yourself what I mean, but don't tell her I told you.

She's says that she is a little devil in disguise and sometimes I believe just that. No, actually she has grown up this year into a very mature young lady who I'm very proud to call my daughter.

Her goal right now is to get into the Georgia Governor's Honor Program this year. She has already interviewed and is just waiting word on her acceptance. (Update: She was a runner-up. You go girl!!)

My how time flys... Christina is now 18 years old, graduated from high school and living on her own. Here's another picture of her graduation that includes her dad's new wife. She started her freshman year at college this year too. I see her just about every tuesday night when she and a friend come over to spend time before their next class. Sometimes she even brings her laundry for me to do. Yep, I still do her laundry because "I just looooovvvvvveeeee laundry". That was a saying I use to use when I found myself unindated with laundry which was all the time. I figured it was a nice way to help the new college student :-)
