Education Trip-May 20, 2000
Girls and adults went to Wild Life park in Salinas to see various animals that are used in the movie and advertising industry. There were some very famous faces. Afterwards, they headed to the beach in Santa Cruz for an afternoon of fun in the sun!
Grand Bethel-June 22-25, 2000
Leaving very early Thursady morning, we headed to a local high school in Sacramento to compete in a volleyball tournament. In addition, a couple of girls also competed in the Daughter Musician contest that afternoon. Friday night was very exciting as our Grand Bethel Girl was selected to represent Brazil and Indiana. Saturday consisted of more competitions, including another round of volleyball, for which we won third place. We also had winners in the Arts and Crafts, Ritual, Daughter Musician and Sew and Show competitions. Sunday morning we slept in, had a late brunch and was home early in the evening. Everyone who went (girls and adults) had a great time!
