One Crabbe - Many Descendants

Again, whilst browsing the Internet I recently found six different trees - in full detail - that mentioned a Mary Crabbe of Dorset. Closer inspection led to finding to my surprise that all six referred to the same Mary Crabbe who married a John Gallop / Gallup in the late sixteenth century.

As one would expect, each of these trees showed a considerable number of descendants from this couple - more surprising was the fact that five out of the six were totally different, the researchers had all got back to Mary & John via different branches of their descendants.

Having fitted the five sub-trees together I now have a single tree showing Mary and over six hundred descendants (including spouses). This will appear on my website at some time in the future once I have tidied up the format etc.

Footnote

Since originally writing this topic there have been some very unexpected developments - more descendants have been added, but even more exciting several generations have been added at the top - there are now 22 generations in this tree and about 1,000 people. See the tree for John Crabbe of Cornwall on the website.
