I am a descendent of John Heinrich BENNER born in East Coventry, Chester County, PA on 2 June 1723. John married Elizabeth STAGER (daughter of Jacob STAGER). John and Elizabeth had two sons: Henry Mose and Christian. Christian BENNER moved to Ohio in the Ross County area.

My ancestor is Henry BENNER who died 1813 in West Vincent township, Chester County, PA. Henry married Peninah EVANS in the late 1700's. Henry and Peninah had 9 children, on of which was Mary BENNER who married Joseph BEIDLER. Other surnames of that area are: Stitler, Wynn, Eirich/Eyrich, and Thomas.

My ancestor is Henry (Heinrich) Benner, Jr. who was born July 31, 1758 in Coventry township, Chester Co., P.A. and died on Sept. 4, 1818. Henry married Elizabeth Hause (b. 1764, d. 1844). They had a son named Daniel Benner (b. 1805, d. 1870) who married Anna Beary.
Daniel and Anna had a daughter named Isabel Benner (b. May 31, 1846 in North Coventry township). Isabel married Jeremiah Zeamer on August 31, 1871. Note: Many of my Benner ancestors are buried in the Mennonite burial grounds in Germantown.

I'm looking for information on a Johann Frederich Benner (1776-August 26, 1871) born in Germany who married Sophia (Unknown) born in 1799 in Chester Co, PA. The couple had one daughter that I know about; Sophia Benner (1816-December 1896) born in Humbolt, Ross County, Ohio. Sophia married my 4th great grandfather James Gray (1810 - Oct 20, 1873). Married on
November 14, 1833. James and Sophia (Benner) Gray lived in Humbolt, Ross County, Ohio which is located between Bainbridge and Fruitdale.
I would appreciate any information you could share.
