Hi, I'm Misty {aka Mitty-Kitty}
and this is my Life story.

This is Me at eight weeks, a tiny furball and a real dynamo.Aren't I cute?

Shortly after this picture was taken, I became quite ill. After several visits to many different Vets and emergency hospitals I was diagnosed with Feline Asthma. Finally, after about three years of problems, the vet we now go to found a shot that she could give me. Almost overnight, after getting this shot, I was cured and have not had a recurrance since.

I guess my humans decided that I was lonely because late in Jan 96, after I had been alone and the Queen of the household for eight years, they appeared one evening with a little black kitten. Well, at first, I was a little ticked with them about the whole thing and proceeded to take it out on the kitten, I later learned they called her Shadoe, but after watching her warily for awhile I decided that as long as I was still BOSS then she could stick around for now. Well I guess they thought that they got away with bringing Shadoe into my domain and that everything was okay because lo and behold another black kitten {Luckie} appeared the next night. I was really ticked now and thought I'm going to have to put my foot down here and do something about this situation before it gets out of hand. But, the more I watched them playing and since they didn't bug me, the more I began to like the idea of having them around. I even thought that I might do them the honour of playing with them every once in awhile. Although I would never admit it to anyone, after 2 years of having them around, if something were to happen to them I would be very upset. They are pretty neat kitties in their own way!
And they think I'm their Mother!

"Take me into your Heart"
"Love me Tender"

I am a persian cross, normally with long hair, but in this photo taken when I was nine years old{1997} I am shaved as my fur gets terribly matted, and since I HATE being brushed and combed, I won't let my humans get within ten feet of me with a brush or comb, so this means a trip to the vet to be put to sleep so I can be trimmed. This is an affair that the vet and her assistants hate as much as I do as I get quite viscious while I am there. When my Male Human comes to pick me up, they send him to the back to get me out of the pen and in to my transporter. With him I'm just a big pussycat, and when I hear his voice I calm down immediately.

At this time(18sept97) I am a very sick cat, with an unknown illness that even the vet can't diagnose, hopefully this is only a temporary situation.

Well, very happy to report that as of today(26 sept 97) I have fully recovered from my mysterious illness. Neither my humans nor the vet have been able to identify what was wrong with me.

Well, it's now the middle of February 1998 and I am just about due for my half yearly visit to the vet for my trim job. My humans want to wait till the last half of April when it is warmer and I have asked them to take a picture of me before I am trimmed so they can put it here for a before and after comparison. I am happy to report that I am in good health and will be ten years old in April 1998.

Well, this is me just before I went for my buzz job on 5 May 98. I feel much better now that I have had my trimming, although I feel that everybody is laughing at me, including my male and female humans. I must admit that I do feel funny at first not having all that fur around, but after a couple of weeks when it starts to grow back I think I look pretty good, as you can see from the photo at the top, although I am a little more gray than I was when that pic was taken. By the way, I had a little surprise for the groomer at the vet this time, usually I fight to stay in my transporter and make them pull me out, but this time when they opened the door, I took off and led them on a chase and ended up hiding under a table. That sure surprised them. They were sure grateful when my male human (Mike) came to pick me up. Well thats all for this installment, I hope you enjoyed my latest saga!
