In mid-August we traveled to New York for Kyle's brother Andrew's wedding to Alison Attia. The wedding was wonderful and, in addition to letting us celebrate with Alison and Andrew, provided an opportunity to see many relatives and friends.
We then spent a week in Castine, a favorite spot of ours, on Penobscot Bay in Maine. The girls enjoyed seeing the village and touring the Maine Maritime Academy's training vessel, the State of Maine. Chloe and Celeste also thoroughly enjoyed our day in Acadia National Park, and had fun trashing our B&B room. They were less thrilled with the long car ride from New York to Maine.
