7 - Gideon Fordham born: 1744 in Southampton, New York, He married Mary Culver circa 1777. Their children were Silas; John d: March 12, 1782; Apollos b: April 16, 1781; John b: March 3, 1783; Polly b: June 4, 1786.

In September 1776 Gideon Fordham moved from Long Island to Rocky Hill Connecticut. He fled Long Island instead of swearing allegiance to the Crown of England.

Gideon died July 29, 1821 in Genesee New York.
