Pleasure driving, combined driving, driven dressage, competitive driving and

program, driver advancement program and resource center.
We welcome anyone to become a member, whether you are actively driving
or are an interested spectator.
American Saddlebred Horse Association
The American Saddlebred Horse Association of BC is a non-profit
organization dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of the American
Saddlebred horse and education of others about our horses. Our breed of
horse has a kind, gentle temperament and a huge willing heart. They
make wonderful show horses or pleasure horses. Saddlebreds can be
ridden English and Western and driven, used for dressage, or jumping,
depending on their natural way of moving and individual conformation.
People are welcome to join whether they own a horse or not. The SASHA
of BC holds monthly meetings in Abbotsford on the 3rd Wednesday of each
month. We also host the BC Country Classic Open Horse show in May each
year. We offer a variety of social activities such as a Summer BBQ,
fall corn roast, as well as dinner/dances for fundraisers, and an
Annual awards banquet in November.

Special Services/opportunities for members: Year end awards for High
Point winners in 5 age groups.
Richmond Therapeutic Equestrian Society
Main Area of Interest: Therapeutic horseback riding for people with disabilities.
Special Services/opportunities for members: Newsletter Volunteers are needed to
help with riding classes and fundraising. Must be at least 14 years old, horse
experience is not necessary but can be an asset. Please contact Program

CHA is the largest and oldest instructor certifying body in the United
Sates and CHA also offers certification of instructors in Canada and Australia.
