Back to Front Page... -- - Horse Council British Columbia The Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association (CanTRA)   The Canadian Therapeutic Riding Instructor Certification is recognized by the national Coaching Association of Canada and is the only official Canadian qualification. There are now approximately 100 centers from coast to coast with a total of 100 instructors. For a country this vast with it's attendant problems of distance, transportation and small population, this is a great accomplishment. Many candidates have had to travel long distances in order to attend a technical evaluation or exam, illustrating their dedication to therapeutic riding.
