This would have to have been
the most awesome experience in my life - sitting on top of Mt Sinai
watching the sunrise. The most beautiful sight and oh how close
I felt to our Grand Creator Jehovah at that moment. The feeling
of sitting on top of the world was an amazing experience and a
moment that I will cherish for eternity. And being there with a
group of my brothers and sisters made it all the more precious an
experience.
What an experience... riding a camel around the Step Pyramid at Saqqara - the first pyramid ever built. The dessert has a unique beauty...hills of sand for as far as the eye can see...a peaceful and quiet place where you can almost feel all alone in the world...
Cheops, the big pyramid... this pic doesn't even come close to showing the awesome size of this pyramid. We're sitting quite a distance from the pyramid itself, so it is way larger than it looks in the pic.
Having seen all the temples and the paganism in ancient Egypt, I could really appreciate why Jehovah brought about the ten plagues upon the Egyptians. Each plague was specifically aimed at particular a Egyptian god to show Jehovah's superiority over them.
