The Cross
God sent His son to die for us,
From sin to set us free,
He shed His blood upon that cross,
He died for you and me.
When He sent His son Jesus,
To die upon that cross,
He knew this was the only way
That He would save the lost.
God has such love for all mankind
And it was shown that day,
For that was when He gave His son,
To cleanse our sins away.
But on that Resurrection morning
God’s battle then was won.
So let us praise our savior,
For all that He has done.
On this, the day of Easter,
Let us all give thanks above,
For what God did for you and me
And His eternal love.
