Our youngest son got married on the stone bridge that crosses the lake in beautiful Yoctangee.Yoctangee is the crowning glory of all of our citizens.
Stroll through the park on any evening and you will see families being together whether it is part of a physical activity or just sitting by the lake. Many parents take their children to the lake to feed the many ducks that call Yoctangee home. Some pack a picnic lunch and watch the children play in the modern playground.
Within Yoctangee Park there are several baseball diamonds, basketball courts soccer fields, skateboarding ramps,go-cart racetrack, model airplane track, and a beautiful municipal swimming pool.
We have band concerts on Sunday afternoons in the Park.
Another wonderful thing about Yoctangee Park is that it is in the main part of our city. People, young and old, can walk to the park.
It is also the perfect setting for weddings. Our youngest son got married at Yoctangee Park. There is even a beautiful large gazebo to hold the reception. That is where my son and his bride's reception was held.
