At one of her last shows, on March 9, 2001, Judge Mrs J. Egan (South Australia) awarded Maudie Best of breed, and RESERVE BEST OF GROUP.

This lovely head study is of Maudie, aged 18 months. A solid blue brindle, she excels in correct size and substance, elegance, naturally short soft coat, excellent flowing topline and underline. A perfectly feminine head with dark, bright eyes and correct ears complete the picture. Born in May, 1995, Maud LOVED showing. In fact, Maudie loves just everything! She won Bitch CC at the South Island Whippet Club's Championship show, 1997. From four consecutive shows, she took 2 CC's, one reserve CC and three reserve Bests of Breed.
