In one of the stars I shall be living In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing when you look at the sky at night...
She didn't have the choice to go or stay,
that was decided by unfeeling fates,
And how do those she touched carry on,
with a heart vacant of the warmth,
a heart vacant of the love,
a heart vacant of the laughter,
and a heart filled with questions
that will never know any answers,
Because she was who she was
Eventually the pain will ease
and the smiles will return,
While her spirit lives to tell her story,
Through the comforting smile of a stranger,
In the first blossom of Spring
retuning a beauty to a place where
the lonely grays of winter have been,
Her voice speaking words of comfort
in the songs of children
who celebrate the possibilities
of the dreams that they will one day follow
Her touch is felt every day
with fingers of azure blue skies
that seek peace and goodness
in souls that might not otherwise feel,
So it is that she will live
in the words of poets who struggle
to find the words to describe
the beauty and the grace,
That will forever be her legacy
-written by a very special friend-Thank you hardly seems enough for everything you've done for me
In all the sorrow...I still give thanks...for the 18 wonderful years I had with Angie. She truely was a remarkable person. She was more than my daughter...she was my friend.... I love you Angie...now and forever...
Two of Angie's teachers, who were also close friends, died in the accident with her...I wish I would have taken the time to thank them, for giving Angie the guidance, encouragement, understanding, friendship and love, that helped to make her the exceptional young woman that she was... Thank you Lori and Dean...I miss you...
The picture below was made for me by Lori's mom, my friend, Carol. Carol and I have shared so much together...laughter, tears, and the friendship between our two very special daughters. Thank you Carol...*hugs*
