uled Anjou jointly with his Father in 1106; succeeding as sole Count 14 Apr 1109. Became Count of Maine by marriage 11 Jul 1110. He resigned Anjou and Maine to his eldest son and successor in 1129. He was appointed Count of Tyre and Ptolmaide in 1129 and King of Jerusalem 21 Aug 1131; being crowned 14 Sep 1131.
