ROM CRANDALL NOTES OF MILDRED (CRANDALL) FALVEY (1987):
Frank LeRoy CRANDALL said the only thing he remembered about James was that one day when visiting his brother, Elisha K. CRANDALL, he said to Frank (who was playing with a wagon), "get that confounded contraption out of my way."
He lived in Webster, Mass., and used to spend summers with Elisha K. and his family. He is buried in the Wood River Cemetery with his two wives. [Crandall homepage]
