No record of marriage or death for this Ebenezer Landers has come to light. We place him here in order to focus attention upon an unplaced Ebenezer Landers who was head of a family of one male over 16 and two under 16 and two females, living at Rensselaerville, Albany County, New York, at the time of the 1790 Census. Many families moved from Sharon and other towns near the western borders of Connecticut and Massachusetts to Albany County. We hope that some reader can give us additional information identifying this resident of Rensselaerville in 1790 - who evidently then had two sons. [Lydia B. (Phinney) Brownson and Maclean W.
