homas5 Landers (Thomas4, John3-2, Thomas1), born 22 June 1764, probably at Sandwich although not recorded there [the date of his birth is taken from the Fairfield, Me., town records]; died, probably in or near Fairfield, after 27 April 1810, when he is named as one of the heirs of his father's (intestate) estate.
He married 17 July 1790 Mary6 Fish (Fairfield Town Records), daughter of Eliab5 Fish (Peleg4, Seth3, Ambrose2, ?Nathaniel1) by his wife Abigail5 Swift (William4, Jireh3, William2-1), of Sandwich, born in Sandwich 5 Jan. 1768, baptized there with four siblings 14 Sept. 1777 (Sandwich 1st Church Records). Her parents also removed to Fairfield. The will of Eliab5 Fish, of Fairfield, Somerset Co., Me., dated 2 Aug. 1803, proved 4 Oct. 1813, gives "To my daughter Mary Landers" (Somerset County Probates, 2:332).
This Thomas Landers, called "Junior", was named tything man at Fairfield in 1792; no doubt the deed, probate and town records contain more data about him.
