eander Parks, born March 8, 1819 in Logan County, Kentucky, moved to Sumner County, Kansas in 1878, and lived on a farm until his death on January 25, 1907. He is buried at Drury (Sumner County), Kansas. He was married twice, first to Hannah Sawyer, who died, and to Luisa Henderson in 1848. He descends from David Parks, II, of Mecklenburg County, N.C., David Parks, I, born in York County, Pa. and Robert Parks, who died in 1753 in Lancaster Pa. and probably the immigrant who arrived in America about 1710.
