Town meeting of Sandwich, Massachusetts., 10 Mar 1676 (1677?): "A town meeting warned by Benjamin Hammond by virtue of a warrant from the Governor for the choice of officers to serve the present year. And the town hath made the choice of William Swift, Sr., and Steven Skiffe, Deputies; Henry Dillingham, Constable; John Bourne and Elisha Bourne, Grand Jurymen; William Swift, Steven Skiffe, Thomas Tupper, Selectmen; Michael Blackwell, Daniel Wing, Surveyors." From Cape Cod Library of Local History and Genealogy, Vol. II, p. 1644. Crocker has 7 Jan 1705/06 for death. A William Swift, 21, to be transported to Virginia on the Primrose, 27 Jul 1635.
