My grandfather was Lowell Landers who married Bertha Pamela Landers, both from Island Falls Maine.(probably around 1900 - 1910. My father was John Robert Landers(born in Derby Maine). My mother is Charlene Rowe Landers (born in Milo Maine). I would be interested in knowing more about my ancestry before my grandfather.

LANDERS : I have Landers on 2 sides of my family My grandmother Angeline Rebecca Hill from Northfield( Leitchfield County) Ct. married a John J Landers of NYS they had 9-10 children---Benjamin dob3-29-1881, John.11-4-1865, Charles dob?, Jake dob ? David dob1869, MaryJane dob1878 William dob11-14-1860, Harriet dob 1872, James dob ?, Matthew dob ? I think David moved to Herkimer, NY Matthew, James and a (John R from next generation) all moved to Detroit, Mi. that was appox 1920's I have not even started on the other side yet..( a different David other then the one above).David Landers married a Maria Beavens had several daughters... one being Nellie Ella dob2-22-1875 died 9-3-1918,do not know if there were sons ?? I am searching for the Landers that went to Granville county NC in 1753. The father John Landers Sr. died in 1792. He had two sons that I know of, John Jr. and Joseph.
