DARLENE
is searching for information on my gggg-grandfather, William CAMPBELL
(birth date and place, parents, siblings, spouse, etc. unknown). He was born ca.
1750, and probably came to Bonaventure County, Gaspe, Quebec from the
"Colonies". There is a William Campbell shown as 1784 Passenger #38 and
1785 Muster Roll #21 (listed as William Cample, Cox Township), and this is most
likely my "William" although I have not been able to find further information.

He had a son, Donald, in Cox Township (New Carlisle), Quebec, about 1785.
Donald married Rose Lane (d/o John Lane)about 1806, and he died sometime
before 1850 in New Carlisle. Rose and Donald's children were Alexander,
Catherine, James, John, Elizabeth, Donald and Margaret. I would be eternally
grateful if anyone could help me with info as to William Campbell's origins.
Have any info pls contact me at

There is also Michael's son John born 1822 in Limerick, Co Limerick

and Mary Brien.

Also John McCarthy b1805 d 1/11/1875, and his wife Mary b 1811 d.8/6/1883

that they see it as Mullen. John, and Mary are buried at St. Famile RC
cemetery in Bathurst. Can help me locate obituaries, death certificates,
ship passenger list or anything else that could help me find more
information on their past before 1828 when they came to the Bathurst area?
