I am the mother of 4 wonderful children. My oldest son Mike is Is newly married to a wonderful girl named Laura.. He is a wonderful, warm, loving son. My second son, Bob, is married with four children one boy and 3 girls. My youngest son A. J. (Alan Junior) is married to his childhood sweetheart. They have one child, a son. My daughter, Wendy, is married and has 2 children, a girl and a boy. As you can see I am very proud of my kids. My husband Alan and I have been married for 40 years. We have lived in the same place for 36 of those years. When the children were young my husband coached their Little League, Soccer and Basketball teams. He was A. J.'s Cub Master in Boy Scouts, A member of the board of directors for both A.Y.S.O. and Little League. He is a wonderful, devoted, husband and father and my best friend...!
I had the great privilege of being a full time mother. I was team mom, den mother, P.T.A. Board member, room mom, Little League Board member, shuttle bus driver (getting the kids to school, dance lessons, games, practice, piano lessons, cub scout meetings, doctors, dentist, orthodontist, etc.), cook, cleaning lady and any other task that came up in the raising of four children. In other word I was a full time mom. I have a great respect for those moms who are able to do all of the above and also hold down a job outside of the home...!
I am also the proud grandmother of seven of the cutest, smartest, most adorable grandchildren in existence. I might be a little prejudice but I don't think so.....? Ryan, my oldest, is much like his dad in good looks and sweet loving nature. He just started Junior High. He loves Soccer and Art. Alexis is a beautiful, bubbly, happy 7th grader. She is an excellant student and loves music, dance, and most of the things normal girls like. Ashley, one of Ryan's 3 sisters is Ryan and Lexi's tag along. She is very beautiful and bright 5th grade and loves playing soccer and softball. Natalie another of Ryan's 3 sisters is a bright, sweet 5 year old. She played soccer last fall and is playing softball now. Megan the last of the 3 sisters just turned 3. She loves horses, dogs, cats, and is one of my best friends. Number 6 grandchild is Carter. He is Lexi's 1 year old brother. No grass grows under his feet, or for that matter anywhere around him. He loves to make noise and climb. Bringing up the rear in the grandkids if Calvin, A.J. and Sharon's 9 month old boy. He is crawling, pulling up to everything, and walking around all the furniture. Very cute and sweet.
I am a Christian. I love being a mom and a grandmother. I Have Grandma day every Wednesday. The kids have short days, so I get them at 1:00 and we have fun all afternoon. I am a craft lover. Some of my hobbies through the years have been; Ceramics, Miniatures, Macrame, Cross Point, Knitting, and Crochet. Right now my passion is my computer and quilting. I recently purchased an embroidery machine and I am really enjoying that... I have also enjoyed creating this web site. I collect Precious Moments. I started my collection when they first came out. I have all of the statues created in the first five years and many more. I also like Holly Baby Angels created by Ruth Morehead. Come back often as I will be updating this page regularly.
