If you are looking for a cute little lap dog, look elsewhere; if you live in an apartment without a backyard, CONSIDER THE TIME THIS BREED TAKES!  JRT's need ALOT OF ROOM, and an ENORMOUS amount of ATTENTION.  Read Things You Need to Know About Jack Russell Terriers to learn more about the breed.

Please note that not every home is suitable for a Jack Russell Terrier.  The
Jack Russell Terrier Club of America and Cody's Dog House work together to find good matches between terriers and their prospective new owners.  We carefully screen to ensure that we place the dogs in home that match the needs of both.  So, applying for a specific dog may not always work out in your favor.
