Memory Lane

Welcome to Mill Creek's Memory Lane! These are Akitas who have shared our home in the past.

Here is our first Akita, Kirabran's Intrepid Bear, bred by Donald and Barbara Reiffert.

This is Mill Creek Moonshadow Sam, who never won his second major, but was our devoted companion from March, 1982 until May, 1993.

This is Sam's "wife" Jane, Mill Creek Sugar-n-Spice. Born in the same year, Sam and Jane were a monogamous couple and rarely separated.

This ferocious pair are brother and sister, Mill Creek Echo of Sassy (Koko, 1984-1994) on the left and Mill Creek Smooth Operator (Kuma, 1984-1996) on the right. They loved a good game of "Fang". Both Kuma and Koko earned a major and some single points but never completed their championship.

Here is Dusty, Yoda's Stardust at Mill Creek, who left us much too soon at the age of three. We will always remember her gentle, sweet personality and her love of people.
