This was the first brick building in Lawton.
The original building was built around 1902
as a one story structure, with an Gothic
European church styling. A second story was
added to the building around 1946. It is the
oldest brick building and church in Lawton.
Construction started in 1907 and was completed in 1909.
From the basement to the attic it is a four
story, 14 room house, built in the colonial
or plantation style. It was the finest home
in Lawton at the time it was built.
