I have been doing genealogy since 1995. My grandmother got me interested in genealogy after she attended the Grasser/Rades Family Reunion in 1994. Most of my information came from a book entitled "My Grasser/Rades Genealogy" created by Mary Lou McComas and Allen Grasser. They compiled most of the information from relatives. I am in the process of verifying the information. Currently, there are 5,300 individuals in the database going back to 1725 on the Grasser side and circa 1800 on the Rades side (which is my maternal side). Also included in my database is my paternal side (Waterman, Pick, Dreyer, Kunstman). My husband's ancestors Kistner, Schaller, Koehler and Kautzer. I would like to thank Debie Blindauer for all her help with my husband's ancestors. If any of the names are in your family tree, please e-mail me so we can compare notes. Most of my ancestors are from Germany, England, France, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Massachusetts.
Here are some of the most common surnames in my family tree:
* BLAKE (Outagamie County, Wisconsin)
* BORN (Sheboygan County, Wisconsin)
* BUCHHOLZ (Sheboygan & Manitowoc County, Wisconsin)
* GRASSER (Wisconsin, Illinois and Massachusetts)
* KAUTZER (Calumet & Manitowoc Counties, Wisconsin)
* KISTNER (Sheboygan County, Wisconsin)
* KOEHLER (Calumet & Sheboygan Counties, Wisconsin)
* KOESER (Sheboygan County, Wisconsin)
* PICK (South Dakota, Wisconsin)
* RABE (Sheboygan & Manitowoc Counties, Wisconsin)
* RADES (Wisconsin)
* SCHALLER (Wisconsin)
* SCHELK (Marinette & Sheboygan Counties, Wisconsin)
* SEIFERT (Wisconsin)

Due to my work schedule and personal interests, I am no longer able to keep up with indexing the obituaries, etc. or doing lookups. I really wish that I could keep doing this, but my family comes first. The indexes that I have done to date will be transferred to the Sheboygan County Genealogy Website after I get them reformatted to be transferred.
For a nominal fee, the Sheboygan County Historical Research Center will do lookups. They have a lot of the obituaries at the center and probably can also provide copies of the obituary for a fee.
In the meantime, I'm taking all of the pages off. I will provide a link to the Sheboygan Co. website when they have been transferred. Good luck with finding your ancestors.
