You can try and and hold it, yet it will slip through your fingers like sand.
Or if you can imagine a bird, eating from one’s hand.
It would take a lot of patience, kindness, and love,
to get a bird to come down from above.
To rest upon your finger, and take from your hand.
Can you see the similarity, do you understand?
It takes a lot to get a bird, to come down from up the wind up high,
but with one quick movement from you, and it will return to its place in the sky.
It also takes a lot to build trust, and to make it strong.
But the slightest thing to break it, and once you do it is gone.
It can fly away like a bird, glistening in a sun ray.
Or change like th weather, on a cloudy or sunny day.
But sometimes the bird will come back once more.
And you can build the trust again, sew up what was tore.
Trust is something special, something delicate, something strong.
Something necessary, like the coming of a dawn.
We all need it at some point, it is a must.
And this, I believe, is the value of trust.
