A Brief Summary

 

CELIA M. MURATORE OF CHELMSFORD

Born in Brooklyn, NY. on October 17, 1923, the daughter of Francesco (Frank) and Concetta (Persico) Pasqualino, Mrs. Celia Marie (Pasqualino) Muratore graduated John Adams High School in Queens, NY, in the class of 1941.

Celia married Mr. Joseph John Muratore on September 17, 1949 and had four children with him. He died April 22, 1964.

Before marriage, she was employed with an insurance company in New York as a key-punch operator. Years later, she worked with the Housekeeping Dept. at the Little Flower Nursing Home in East Islip, NY, retiring in 1986.

Celia was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Chelmsford.

She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Columbiettes in Huntington Station, N.Y., and belonged to many parish organizations such as the Rosarians at St. Peter's Church in Islip Terrace, N.Y.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen S. and Rachael (Anderson) Muratore of Chico, CA, and Joseph J. and Judith (Libman) Muratore of North Chelmsford; two daughters and a son-in-law, Irene and Joseph Clark of Islip Terrace, N.Y., and Christine Muratore of Chico, CA; five grandchildren, Adam, Heather and Ariana Clark, and Lucas and Chiara Muratore, and many nieces and nephews.

Celia loved children. She unabashedly lavished love on any who came within her reach.

Mrs. Celia M. (Pasqualino) Muratore of Chelmsford died August 5, 2000 at Lowell General Hospital.

MURATORE, of Chelmsford, died August 5, 2000. Celia M.

(Pasqualino) Muratore. Funeral Wed at 8AM from the DOLAN FUNERAL

HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 9AM at

St. John the Evangelist Church. Visiting hours Mon. 7 to 9 p.m.,

and Tues. 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Cremation at Linwood Crematory in

Haverhill, Burial of Cremated Remains will take place in the Long

Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, Long Island, N.Y.
