Gugada Giel

She heard him cry back from across the field, "voy zai vacca: I am in the stomach of the cow!" You can bet that Gugada's mother went straight to the famaola: the farmer. "Mr. Farmer, you have to take your cow to the butcher to let my boy out," she said.
"Now just a minute, mama!" said the farmer. "We love that cow, and we get our milk from her. Besides, she was very expensive!"
"But bambino mia: my baby!" cried Gugada's mother with tears in her big cow eyes.
"All right, all right," said the farmer. "We will just give the vacca some bitter medicine and she will spit him out." They gave the cow the medicine and it worked.
"Gugada Giel, you are a mess," his mother said squeezing him with hugs and covering him with kisses. She was so happy to have her little boy back that she forgot to be angry with him for running away. But when she had him at home and was giving him a bath, she said, "Gugada Giel, no matter what you do wrong, your mama can always forgive you."
Gugada Giel said, "I'm sorry for eating all the pizza without thinking of anyone else and I am very sorry for worrying you. I will never, ever, run away again!"
