Owl Valley Farm is nestled in the foothills of central Maryland. It first came into my family in 1931, although my family has been in the area since the early 1600's It was a quiet and still is a nice place to live. One of my hobbies is Genealogy, its very interesting to see how your family ancestry fits into the history of the world around you. I have found that my ancestors had quite a bit to do with the development of America, going back to the mid-1500's, when they financed some of the first explorations for commerce. Were some of the first settlers from Europe. Served during the American Revolution, the War of 1812, The Civil War. Also how the family fits into the history of Europe and the world.
Occasionally I do volunteer work with Maryland Public Television and one of the perks is meeting interesting people. Here is a picture of me with John Tesh.
