One of the big FFA projects is the fruit sale every fall. The fruit sales bring in money to help the program. It's very important that every member sell at least one case of fruit. We have some members that sell over a hundred cases of fruit. Awards are given to high sellers. The fruit sale last a month. During that time it's usually quite hectic around the Ag. dept. trying to figure out who sold what, and how much of it. The whole project is worth it because of the money it brings in and the exposure it gives the FFA.

The FFA members also attend numerous leadership conferences. These conferences have workshops that tell students different ways in which they can help the community and themselves.

The FFA works with the community by helping at the annual New River Valley Fair. They accept the entries for the vegetable and farm categories.
