Monthly Fourth Monday of each month:Col. A. J. May Camp #1897 Sons of Confederate Veterans monthly meeting, Samuel May House, Prestonsburg, KY. 7:00 p.m.
Every Other Month Fourth Tuesday of : Friends of the Samuel May House monthly meeting, Samuel May House, Prestonsburg, KY. 7:00 p.m.
December 6, 2008, Secession Day Dinner, sponsored by the Col. A. J. May Camp #1897 Sons of Confederate Veterans. 6:00 P.M. Jenny Wiley State Park, May Lodge Dining Room, Buffet dinner, each pays for own meal. All SCV members and their guests are invited. Please bring item for auction.
January 3, 2009, 2:00 PM: Old Christmas. Music, Tours, refreshments. Admission Free.
September, 2010: May Family Reunion, Jenny Wiley State Park. All descendants of John May, those married to descendants or want to be Mays are invited to attend. To include tours of the Samuel May House, and various family cemeteries. Go to mayhouse.org for further information.
