Submission of photos to be included in this gallery will be appreciated. We are interested in pictures of individuals, family groups, places, and events. We are also interested in pictures from surrounding counties that once was part of Floyd County. Any pictures submitted and used will have proper credit given to the submitter.

The above two photographs were taken in 1927, when the Prestonsburg DAR dedicated a monument to John Graham, first surveyor of Floyd County and its first land agent. The monument stands on the lot directly north of Billy Ray Collins's resturant on First Avenue in Prestonsburg. For a larger image, click here.
