Day 8 - Nashville/Hooters/Ryman/ General Jackson

LUNCH TIME AT HOOTERS!

My Oh My…Look WHOOOOOO Greeted Rev at the door.

And our lovely waitress. Her name is Cha Cha.

Rev in HOOTER heaven

Ryman Auditorium

The Ryman Auditorium is the "Mother Church" of country music. This was replaced by the Grand Ole Opry. It is still used for concerts. They were getting ready for a performance by Amy Grant tonight. We enjoyed the life like bonze statue of Minnie Pearl and Roy Acuff.

Here is the new singing sensation…"THE ROBINSONS". Discovered at the Grand Ole Opry and requested by millions to reenact their original performance at the Ryman. We may never return to work after we sign that mega bucks singing contract. Well I guess we better not hold our breath.

The General Jackson Paddle-Wheel Showboat

The General Jackson Paddle-Wheel Showboat is the largest showboat in the world. We boarded at 7:30 and disembarked at 11:30, so you can see we had a full evening.

We were greeted by a Dixieland jazz band and after a great three course dinner, we enjoyed a fabulous stage performance including singing, dancing, impressions and a juggler.

This was a wonderful way to spend our last night in Nashville. Now on to Memphis.
