Went to WPI, big-name East Coast tech school. Got sick of it. Dropped out. Formed a band. Got a job programming for UltraNet, an ISP. Got sick of it. Got a job as sysadmin for the Berklee College of Music. Got sick of it. Got a job designing web pages and database back-ends for web-based applications. (www.ldbw.com) Formed another band. Wrote music. Played with computers. Played with synthesizers. Lots of fun. |
Future goals: | To do fun things. 8) |

After I graduated from SUHS I went on
a trip to Europe for about a month. I then in the fall went to Chemeketa
C. College to get a degree in the Sciences. After being there for
a year, I transfered to Oregon State University to pursue the degree in
the Geosciences. I then got involved in a greek fraternity, FarmHouse
Fraternity, and was involved in that one throughout my college career.
At OSU, I was involved in the OSU Marching Band, Basketball Band, Concert
Band, and Symphonic Band. The Symphonic Band is where I had trips
to Reno, San Francisco, Seattle, and the best trip of all to Costa Rica
for a week. I graduated from OSU in the Spring of 1995 with a B.S.
degree in Geography.
Since graduating from SUHS, I have been on many vacations and trips. Trips I have gone on have been cross-country trips from Oregon to Virginia, many trips to Southern California, and coming up a trip to Kansas City. My work has been primarily with the Environmental Protection Agency in Corvallis for two months and then getting the current job in Portland with AverStar. AverStar is a company that does Digital maps for the US Geological Survey, US Forest Service, cities, counties, and other governments. These digital maps I describe are 3D images basically. |

I am currently being sought after from
a company that is in Kansas City, Missouri, their name is M.J. Harden.
M.J. Harden is a photogrammetry firm that does imagery calibration for
the National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA), USGS, and other firms.
I would be their Mid-level Cartographer to start out with and in a year
be in the running for a Senior Cartographer. Still trying to decide
on this job.
I have also got intentions to taking many more software classes, primarily Arc/Info, ArcView, and many more computer-related software in the future. In a couple of years I will get my Masters Degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) that would be from the University of Southern California (USC). |
Fondest memory: | Friends that I gained while I was there and the overall activities of the High School experience. |

After graduation: | I went on to Western Oregon State College where I received a B.S. in English in Dec. of 1995. I then spent a year working as a receptionist at Marian Estates (most of you will remembering calling it the Marian Home). I met my husband, Brian, through an internet mailing list. We were married on January 11, 1997. I am now a happy homemaker who spends her days emailing and designing web pages for the heck of it. |
Future goals: | Move out of Deep River! Anybody looking for a C/C++ programmer? ;-) |
Fondest memory: | Well, it's not exactly a fond memory, but a funny one: the day Ullyssa Althaus and I almost set the science lab on fire during freshman IPS in 5th period by dropping a flaming burner the same day Megan McDermott and Elona Olson almost did the same thing in 7th period. I don't think Mr. Griffin was having a good day. |

After graduation: | Went to Beloit College for 4 years. (it's in Wisconsin, of course.) Graduated with a BA in German and a minor in Cinema and Technology. Now I'm about to spend some time in Chicago making WWW pages and some other boring computer stuff. It'll be super. |
Fondest memory: | Hmmmm ... Probably all the stupid stuff I did with Art Porter, Damon Bell, and Andy Davis. Or maybe ... Heck, I don't know. I don't remember anything being particularly super. |
