Welcome!! I’m glad you came to visit!

Just a little information about me...... I live in North Carolina, but I was raised in Florida. (Visit Florida My Florida) I am enjoying the change of seasons here even though I get homesick at times for Florida. Isn’t it odd how when you’re young you can’t wait to get away from home and then when you’re a little older, home is what stays on your heart?! Soon we will be moving once again. My prayer is that we will still be able to stay in the South!

We have two sons and two cats. Our youngest son is in high school. He is an absolute treasure! Our oldest son is a Captain in the Marine Corps. They are both a great source of pride to us! I lost my beloved orange tabby cat, Sundance, in the Fall of 2000 and I didn't believe I would ever be able to get attached to another cat. (See Sundance’s memorial page) However, after nearly a year, we adopted 2 precious little caramel tabby kittens from the rescue center here. (recently -Summer of 2006- we lost one to cancer. It was a sad time for the entire family) They have since… stolen our hearts and taken over the house! (They are kind enough to allow us to share their domain ~smile~) Our most recent addition is another little orange tabby cat from the center where I volunteer with the homeless animals. This little tabby rolled over on his back and meowed everytime I walked in the room. That was all it took. He stole my heart!

I’m a Christian and my faith is what motivates my life. Spiritual growth is not always joyous; it is often difficult and painful. I have experienced wonderful victories over the years. However, I have also slipped and fallen many times but the Lord has never rejected me or turned His back on me. He lovingly pulls me to my feet. I owe all that I am or ever will be in the future to Him. I will never be worthy to be called His child. It’s only by His grace and mercy that I can claim the name "Christian". I hope to spend the rest of my life serving Him in whatever manner He calls me.

If you’re not a Christian, please consider your need of Jesus Christ. We are all in need of forgiveness for the sin in our own lives. Christ's death satisfies all that God demands of sinners, and you may have God's forgiveness by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, your substitute for the penalty of sin.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." John 3:16&17
