This Indenture made and entered into this July 19th 1873 between Noah Hollowell of the county of Carrol and State of Mississippi of one part and Irwin Hollowell of the county of Caldwell and State of Kentucky of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Noah Hollowell for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred and One Dollars to him in hand paid by the aforesaid Irwin Hollowell, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath this day bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain Sell and confirm to the said Irwin Hollowell, all of my right title and interest in certain tracts or parcels of Land. Situate and being in the County of Caldwell and State of Kentucky, and lying on the Dry Fork of Eddy Creek, the first tract has the Domicile where Noah Hollowell lived at the time of his death containing about 200 acres, the tract second Joins tract first, and is the tract that said Noah Hollowell purchased of William Crews wife containing 125-1/4 acres, the tract third adjoins tract second, and is the tract that Noah Hollowell bought of Jno. L. Nabbs wife contains 8 acres 3 rods and 14 poles, tract No. 4 is the tract that Noah Hollowell bought of James E. Nevil, containing 50 acres, the interst that I hold in the above named tracts of land is as Legatee of the last will and testament of Noah Hollowell, dec'd, which is hereby conveyed to said Irwin Hollowell. To have and to hold the aforesaid tracts or parcels of land to said Irwin Hollowell his heirs and assigns forever. I give and bequeath the remainder of my money whatever there may be left to my brothers and sisters William Hollowell Luke Hollowell Mariam Hill and Sarah Fowler to be equally divided among them to them and their heirs forever. 7th I give and bequeath to my mother the residue of my bed bed clothing and wearing apparel during her natural life. 8th It is my will that whatever may be left of my wearing apparel at the decease of my mother be equally divided among Mariam Hill Sarah Fowler and Marietta Goodwin and whatever my be left of my Beds and bedclothing at the decease of my mother to be equally divided among all of the above mentioned heirs. 9th It is my will that my mother have all my dishes saddle books and pictures during her natural life and at the decease of my mother said books dishes saddle and pictures be equally divided among all of the above mentioned heirs. 10th I hereby constitute and appoint my brother Abner Hollowell Eecutor of this my last will and testament. I Noah Hollowell County of Chowan and State of North Carolina calling to mind the certainty of death and the uncertainty of life and being of a sound mind and also disposing memory thanks be to almighty God, for the Dame do make publish and declare this instrument of riting to be my last will and testament, revoking all other will or wills by me heretofore made. 1st I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas F. Hollowell fifty acres of land dying on the Virginia road and adjoining the lands of Cotton Cannon to the South and Baker F.
