Corny Chowder
1 tsp. butter
or margarine
1 tbsp. chopped
onion
1- 14 oz. can
of creamed corn
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup chopped
cooked ham
1/2 chopped red
pepper (optional)
1 tbsp. chopped
green pepper (optional)
salt and pepper
to taste
1. Melt butter
or margarine in medium saucepan on medium heat
2. Cook onion
for 2 - 3 minutes until soft.
3. Add the creamed
corn and milk and stir well.
4. Heat on medium-low
and simmer for 10 minutes.
5. Add ham, red
pepper and green onions, then stir and cook for another 5 minutes.
6. Add salt and
pepper and serve.
