Going Potty!

Take a clean terra cotta flower pot (you can buys these really cheap at hardware stores). Depending on the age of the child you can either let the child paint it with the the paint brush, or help.

You can use craft paint or glitter fabric paint to make it look really neat. Or you can paint it using the child's handprint as decoratins around the flower
pot.

Another idea is to use podgy (craft glue) and cut-out pictures to make a collage on the pot.

Put a towel under the pot for any spills. The fabric paint washes off the brushes and hands. Also put a paint shirt on my children incase of accidents.

Write the child's name and year on the bottom of the flower pot. After it completely dries, help the children plant a flower in it! It's a good gift, too!
