Genealogy Information for Jones-Campbell-Holleyman Families

I recently learned of my great-grandfather on my mother's side of the family. His name was James Dyer and was the first state representative for the parish of Claiborne in Louisiana. For a while, he was also a sheriff of that parish. In researching this data, I discovered some historical writings about this particular parish and downloaded them into a file. There are only a few references in this document to James Dyer (highlighted in yellow), but I think the whole is very interesting nonetheless. The rest of the document imparts the flavor of the time that James Dyer and his peers lived. And besides, all the stories are just downright interesting. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I have.
