Pierre Desportes married before 1620 to Francoise Langlois in France.
They had daughter, Helene, who married first Guillaume Hebert 1 Oct 1634 in Quebec and married second Noel Morin 9 Jan 1640 in Quebec.
I have a direct line from both marriages.
Our French-Canadian Ancestors by Thomas J. Laforest says in Volume XVI that Helene was the first white child born in New France.
The Dictionary of Canadian Biography, Volume 1, makes the same claim.
