The Biscoe Firemen

The Chief of Biscoe Fire Department is appointed by the
Town Commissioners of the Town of Biscoe. Officers are appointed by the Chief.
Members are elected by the department and are required to recieve a minimum of 36
hours of training each year. New firemen must be between the ages of
18 and 35 in order to assure eligibility in the North Carolina Firemen
and Rescue Workers' Pension Fund. A one-year probation
period is served by all newly-elected members.

There are currently five unfilled positions.
