Crispy Christmas Trees

4 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
3 Tblsp butter or margarine
1/8 tsp green liquid food coloring
6 cups crispy rise cereal
small red cinnamon candies

Lightly grease twenty-two 3 1/2 by 3 1/4 inch tree shaped cookie cutters and place on a greased baking sheet.

Combine marshmallows and butter in a heavy dutch oven over medium heat.  Stir until smooth.  Tint mixture green.  Stir in cereal.

When cool enough to hangle, use lightly greased hands to press about 1/4 cup of mizture into each cookie cutter.  Press candies onto trees.  store in an airtight container in a cool place.  Makes about 22 trees.
