Welcome To The Latter Day Saint Area of My World

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints ever since I was born. My mom was a member her whole life, but my dad is a convert.

Probally the best way to start off my Latter Day Saint page is to start with my testimony. I believe the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church, restored to the earth through Joseph Smith. My favorite non-fiction book has always been the Book of Mormon. I believe the Book fo Mormon and the Bible to be the word of God, (the bible as far as it is translated correctly). I have several favorite passages from the Books of Mormon.
I have a strong form testimony on temple and of the work that goes on with in the House of God (temples). I have made a seperate page about temples and about the one being built here in Houston here

I love to read, any type of book. I have read several Latter Day Saint books, and these are the one's I have read that I recommend for others, members and non-members alike, to read.
Order Willard Morgan's From Critic to Convert : A Skeptic Questions His Way to Mormonism by clicking here
A wounderful book about a man who was a big critic of the LDS church. He did extensive research about the church and convert himself into the Latter Day Saint religion by doing so. He shows the big picture of Mormonism in depth, and insights that are easy to understand without a theology degree. Very very well written and very highly recommended for everyone interested in the church or just want to learn more. Also a great testimony builder.
Order Bill. McKeever and Bridget Clare McKeever's Answering Mormons' Questions by clicking here
This book is a great resource tool for anyone who is interested in learning more about the "Mormons". This book answers several questions about Mormons, who they are and their beliefs. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in the Latter Day Saint religion and also for members to help with building testimonies.

Order Lauramaery Gold and Laura Maery Gold's Mormons on the Internet by clicking here
This is a great book for all Latter Day Saints out there. It tells about web sites dealing with controversial areas of the Mormon religion, like the God-Head, as well as lighter areas, such as Mormon humor. A great book for expert internet users to the most inexperienced internet user.

Order Ye Have Done It Unto Me
Christ preached that every act of service, if done with a pure heart, was done as if we were serving Him.  We are given many unique ways to serve, and how to remember Christ as we seek out others to serve.

Order Let Virtue Garnish Thy Thoughts Unceasingly
This booklet helps us identify ways we can control our thoughts and think about virtuous things constantly.

Order Book of Mormon Insights, Vol. II
The first volume was received so enthusiastically, a second has been printed.  For each chapter of the Book of Mormon, the author identifies a different concept of teaching we can use in this day and age.  These insights help us understand the book more fully and give us any ideas we can ponder and learn.

I also have a list of non-LDS books that I have read and recommed others to read. They are all listed here. Also, if you are interested in seeing what other Latter Day Saint books there are out there, you can click here to find out.
