Little hands
with tiny fingers
floating down from above...
Outstretched wings
of celestial beauty
extend their amiable welcome...
They whisper sweet things
in the little ears
of those who believe
in Miracles...
They don't stay for long
they change like the winds
to pass on what they know
to everyone they can
to everyone who believes...
And I know that they are always
watching over me...
Because they told me so
the other night
when they visited my room..
If I have freedom in my love,
And in my soul am free,Angels alone that soar above Enjoy the liberty.
Richard Lovelace
For a good angel will go with
him, his journey will be sucessful, and he will come home safe and sound.

May The Angels...
~May the angels keep you til morning. May they guide you through the
night. May they comfort all your sorrows. May they help you win the fight. May they keep
watch over your soul. May they show you better ways. May they guard you while you're
sleeping. May they see you through your days. May they show you new hopes. May they still
your every doubt. May they calm your every fear. May they hear you when you shout. May the
angels keep you til morning. More than this I cannot pray. And if the angels ever fail
you. Then may God be there that day.~
May you...

A Visiting Angel Tells
of A Mother's Love
One calm, bright, sweet, sunshiny day,
an angel slipped out of heaven and came down to earth
and roamed field and forest, city and hamlet.
Just as the sun was setting, he spread his wings and said,
"Now my visit is over and I must go back to the world of light.
But before I go, I would like to take along some mementos of my visit here."
He noticed a beautiful flower garden and said,
"How lovely and fragrant these flowers are."
He plucked the rarest and most beautiful roses
and made a bouquet and said,
"I see nothing more beautiful and fragrant than these;
I will take them back to heaven with me." Looking on a little further, he saw a
bright-eyed, rosy cheek baby, smiling into his mother's face. And said, "Oh, that
baby's smile
is even prettier than this bouquet of roses;
I will take that, too!"
Then he looked just beyond the cradle
and there was a mother's love pouring out
like the gush of a river toward the cradle and the baby.
And he said to himself,
"Oh, that mother's love is the prettiest thing I have seen on earth;
I will carry that too."
With the three treasures he winged his way back to heaven.
When he arrived outside the gates of heaven,
he examined his mementos, wondering how they had made the trip.
He looked at the flowers and they were wilted.
He looked at the baby's smile and it had faded.
He looked at the mother's love and it was still there,
in all its warmth and in all its pristine beauty.
He threw aside the wilted flowers, only remembering the faded smile,
and winged his way through the gates of heaven.
He gathered all the hosts of heaven together and said,
"Here is the only thing I found on earth that would keep its beauty all the way to
heaven...
It is a Mother's Love
