5. Occupation :  Deputy Headteacher in large south London school

6. Family :  Wife Jane married 25 years last October, sons Nick(18) and Greg(13), Whizz and Sonic the moggies, sister Maureen with similar family, both parents alive and well and enjoying life in Brighton with frequent visits to the emerald Isle, sister in law Anne who lives with her second husband and 2 year old son Lawrence on the Isle of Wight.

7. Interests : playing bridge both real and on the Net, movies, taking photos, computers

8. Description of your puter :  Currently using a Texas Instruments laptop (which is brilliant) so new to Windows 95 as used to be a Mac person

 9. when did you first go on-line? Jan 98

10. What do you use your puter for? Work and pleasure

11. Pets? Aforementiond cats

12. Education/where? Grammar School in Hove, graduated London Uni 1972

• movie: probably The Third Man
• sprots: tennis but can't really play these days owing to neck injury received when knocked down on pedestrian crossing but that another story
• color  blue

14. Who was the first person you met online..when/where/how?  The lady I now play bridge with regularly on Friday nights. She lives in Northampton. She plays under the name Heidi, real name Raine. She has a terrific sense of humour.

15. Which character attribute do you consider to be the most important? Honesty
