Shaun was lost to us on October 9th, 1998. This is a tragic loss to so many of us. Ours hearts ache for her family, her husband Cap, her daughter Christi and her Granddaughter Tiffany. The entire 40's board mourns this great loss, as does the Outlook Express Stationery world. Shaun was the OutLook Express Stationery Queen ..hands down.
Many of us gazed at her creations in awe as they were posted at the microsoft.com/public.inetexplorer.ie4.outlookexpress.stationery newsgroup. This newsgroup was opened very shortly after the release of IE4.0 and Shaun was the first one to show us all what could be done with stationery. She was also the first to tell the rest of us how to make our own. Several of the 40's regulars who lurked at the stationery board came back home to the 40's board posting Shaun's work and instructions and singing her praises. It was a happy day for us when Shaun decided to join our group. Shaun felt strongly that while folks were welcome to use her stationery creations for private comunication, she did NOT want them used on any web pages. I felt greatly honored the day she emailed me and told me that I could use any of her stationery at my site. She even made a couple of new pieces and sent them to be for inclusion on the stationery page I made for her. If you'd like to see this collection of Shaun's stationery, each included with her blessing, click on the duck to bounce to my 'Shaun's OE Stationery Page'
